Following the extensive refurbishment of our building, the Property and
Commercial Department is situated in the newly renovated open plan
attic.
Our Department is headed by our Senior Partner, Ken Stenger who is joined by Zena Warburton, Solicitor. Ken and Zena are supported by a motivated, efficient and friendly team of administrative staff who have varying levels of qualification from senior secretaries to law Graduates. The team is commited to continued training to ensure expertise is always at hand.
The department adopts a forward thinking approach to all matters both in relation to our clients, the department and the firm as a whole. Having monitored the situation and likely changes ahead, we are ready and waiting for the introduction of "E-conveyancing". We have already introduced the use of electronic searches and we are more than happy to acknowledge email as the way forward in correspondance. This enables us to provide a service to clients all over the UK and indeed other parts of the world. We are continuing to monitor the changes afoot in the conveyancing world and are confident that we have the technical requirements in place to allow communication direct with lenders, search providers and the Land Registry. Things that are undoubtedly needed to move with a changing market. We see the introduction of the 'Seller's Home Information Pack' as an exciting challenge rather than a hinderence as is the view of some other firms.
