John graduated from Newcastle University in 2004. He joined the firm as a Solicitor in 2010 to take up clinical negligence work, having previously worked as an employment lawyer acting as an advocate in Courts and Employment Tribunals across the country, helping clients recover millions of pounds in compensation. During this period, John acted in complicated high value mass litigation cases that went to both the Employment Appeals Tribunal and Court of Appeal.
John joined the firm to specialise in clinical negligence law mainly because he saw practising in this field of law as an opportunity to help deserving and often vulnerable people obtain justice and felt that his previous extensive court experience would be a great help in this regard.
John has experience in cases involving Scaphoid Fractures, Hip Surgery, Dental Surgery, Rhinoplasty, Nerve Damage, Dermatology and Appendicitis .
John is easy to talk to and sensitive to clients' needs. Before specialising in law and whilst at university he trained in counselling.
