Neil joined Longden Walker & Renney in 1990 as a trainee Legal Executive within the firm's Personal Injury Department. He qualified in 1998 and has spent the vast majority of his legal career with the firm. During a 5 year period he worked for other specialist practices in the North East, gaining further extensive experience in personal injury and clinical negligence work. After this time Neil was recruited back into the firm as part of the firm's plans for the expansion of the Clinical Negligence Department and has worked his way up in a thriving and expanding department, becoming Head of Department in 2008 and a Partner in the firm in 2009. The Clinical Negligence Department is dedicated exclusively to working for victims of medical accidents. Neil has extensive experience of handling all types of medical and dental cases, and has a particular interest in cases involving ophthalmic surgery, missed scaphoid fracture, failed breast surgery and birth acquired brain damage. He has worked hard to develop a solid network of top experts to assist the department. To date some of his settled cases have involved:

- septoplasty;
- rhinoplasty;
- breast augmentation;
