Jonathan graduated with an Honours degree in Law at Northumbria University in 1995, jointly winning the Northern Rock prize for best part time student. He commenced employment with a Sunderland firm specialising in personal injury work in 1999 and qualified as a solicitor in 2002. He joined the personal injury department at Longden Walker & Renney in 2008 and now specialises in all types of personal injury work. In particular Jonathan has extensive experience in acting for claimants and their families in claims against former employers for asbestos related industrial disease, including mesothelioma, asbestosis and pleural thickening. He also has wide experience in other types of personal injury work including accidents at work, road traffic accidents, occupiers liability, slips trips and falls and clinical negligence. Jonathan also acts for families in fatal accident claims and a lot of his cases are of a high value and complex nature
