Richard was admitted as a solicitor in 1976 and is the most senior member of our Practice.

He has been a long standing Member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers. He has represented clients in Clinical Negligence cases for over 25 years and now deals almost exclusively in this area of law.

His experience ranges from handling cases of modest value to successfully concluding those involving catastrophic brain damage, particularly those resulting from the unsatisfactory management of the labour process. His experience includes cases of maximum value where clients have been left with the comfort that the settlement terms ensure that funds will be available to assist with care and other needs throughout their lives.

His abilities in this area of law have won him many referrals of cases from clients and other Solicitors. Like everyone at Longden, Walker & Renney he appreciates that it is often difficult for clients to talk about problems involving their medical treatment, and whilst ensuring that the best possible result is achieved, he is always a caring and sympathetic listener.
