Paul had been attending the same dental practice since childhood. Whilst have a number of dental fillings throughout his life he didn’t believe he had any significant dental problems. A new dentist started at the practice and identified a number of sub-standard dental work had been performed, most notably the fusing together of two molar teeth with dental cement.

The expert confirmed that a number of decayed roots had been left without treatment and dental fillings had been performed incorrectly. Three Dentists were identified as providing sub-standard treatment throughout Paul’s life time.
Investigations were made to identify the three Dentists and letters of claim were sent to each of these Dentists. On receipt of the letters of claim an offer of settlement of £20,000 was received from the Insurer for these Dentists.
