Pam is a very experienced litigator, specialising in the resolution of Clinical Negligence Claims.
Prior to joining LWR, she had acted as Head of Legal Services at an NHS Hospital Trust and worked in a top tier multi-national law firm's Clinical Negligence department, where she advised and acted on behalf of the NHS Litigation Authority (now NHS Resolution) and various hospital Trusts.
Pam acts in high value, complex litigation, securing the best possible outcomes in cases inolving:
- eye laser surgery
- bariatric surgery
- breast augmentations and reductions
- nerve damage
- orthopaedics (missed scaphoid fractures, foot/ankle and knee surgery)
- general surgery
- colorectal surgery
- extravasation injuries
- kidney disease/failure
She is particularly interested in Claims involving plastic and elective surgery.
Having previously worked for the NHS for 20 years, she has excellent insight into the Defendants operating methods. Her understanding of the Defendant’s perspective and hospital procedures is frequently to the benefit of her clients.
As manager of the Legal Services Department for a large NHS Trust she advised on legal issues and handled the Trust’s Clinical Negligence claims case load.

On a personal level, Pam loves the outdoors and she enjoys walking with her three dogs (two German Shepherds and a Greyhound). In her spare time she enjoys competing in dog agility at various venues across the North East
