Long-serving team member Janine Anderson is celebrating a career milestone after successfully completing a specialist Paralegal qualification in Wills, Probate & Administration.
The qualification is equivalent to QCF Level 6, the highest level of subject-specific graduate level training available in the UK.
Designed for paralegals and legal secretaries who want to develop their career, the course provides students with a detailed knowledge and understanding of the procedures involved in the preparation of Wills and Estate Administration.
Having joined us as an office trainee in 2004, Janine has worked hard to advance her career and the landmark accomplishment is the culmination of 18 years of dedicated service. She is already looking forward to attending the prestigious graduation ceremony with her family.
Reflecting on her achievement, Janine said: “It’s taken just over 18 months to complete my studies, but I’m so proud to finally get the qualification because it is official confirmation of all the things I have learned during my time here.
“It’s the first time I have studied formally since leaving school after my GCSEs and I really enjoyed the learning experience. Not only is it good for my career, it’s given me a big confidence boost and confirms the high-quality service I can provide for clients.”
Janine, who works in our Wills, Trusts & Probate Department, is applying to become a member of the Institute of Paralegals (IoP), which sets and upholds professional standards, ethics and practices, and should receive confirmation of her status in early 2023.
Director Laura Brydon, Head of the Wills, Trusts & Probate division, believes the qualification is well deserved and said: “Janine’s success is testament to her hard work and dedication. She is an excellent long-standing team member and I am sure this will help her career continue to go from strength to strength.”
